Empathy first
I conducted in-depth interviews with admins and users, uncovering their pain points and desired workflows. They craved real-time insights, streamlined problem resolution, and a proactive approach to preventing issues. Based on user insights, I quickly iterated on low-fidelity prototypes, testing concepts with stakeholders and refining those scenarios. The key was finding the sweet spot between comprehensive data and actionable insights.

The Impact
The final design focuses on end-to-end visibility - a single platform showcasing device health, potential issues, compliance status, and warranty information. This empowered admins to identify and address problems before they impacted users.

Ditch the chaos, conquer device headaches
I crafted full clickable prototypes, iterating them based on a panoramic view of every device, whether corporate-owned or user-brought. This allowed an admin to gain proactive insights into device health, compliance, warranties, and more, preventing issues before they become emergencies. 
The design proactively identifies and resolves issues before they escalate, allowing admins to focus on strategic matters with confidence. 

Streamline Surface support for multiple devices at once
Managing individual tickets for numerous Surface devices was a tedious, time-consuming process. Admins struggled with inefficient workflows, unclear communication, and delayed resolutions. This led to user frustration, downtime, and a strain on IT resources.
I designed a simple resolution for bulk support requests allowing admins to enter device serial numbers, describe problems, and choose a primary contact for clear communication. I also leveraged the Microsoft Support API for seamless integration and fast response.

Instantly identify and address non-compliant devices with automatic scans, ensuring security standards are always met. I harnessed past activity and warranty data to anticipate future support needs, optimize resources, and eliminate downtime surprises.
